My daughter started nursery during Lockdown at 2 years old. The problem was we had to hand her over at the front door to a nursery worker(whom she didnt know and never met) and leave her. She cried and never settled to the point It didn't sit well with me so i took her out thinking she is only 2. I will start her again when she's 3. So I have taken her to a stay and play group and although her speech is very forward she wont interact with the other children and i've noticed she is trying to control me and has told made comments like 'its boring' and i'm not going back there'. I will keep taking her back because I don't want her controlling the situation. However I'm worried that when she starts nursery she will not let me leave her side. I am happy to stay until she is settled there but is this normal? I will be also sending her to a nursery that lets parents stay as the previous one still wont let adults inside.
I just need some advice?
