Toddlers sleep comfort

So I know this is a really strange question but looking to see if anyone has any ideas.

My little girl is 18 months and since about 10months her comfort at night time is playing with the top button of her baby grow!

She’s really tall for her age and is quickly growing out of 18-24 months. I’m struggling to find babygrows in an age 2-3.

We are also going on holiday soon, and my plan is for nighttime to put her in dressyish pyjamas when we go out for dinner so if she falls asleep I can just lift her into the cot when we get back to the hotel.

The problem is if she doesn’t have her little comfort she doesn’t sleep that great. The times Iv tried normal pyjamas on her if she wakes in the night she can’t get back to sleep and is literally clawing at her top looking for the button the wee soul. Iv tried comforters etc but nothing else works.

I’m thinking about making some kind of clip I can add to the top of pyjamas to mimic a button (I know how mad this sounds haha). Anyone any ideas of what I could use?

Give her the normal pjs she uses as a comfort to just hold in her bed like a fav toy etc x

So we’ve tried the button up pj’s and they don’t work the same, she’s very specific haha! She gets excited getting her baby grow on at night and always asks for ‘the button’ it’s quite cute but also a very strange comfort lol.

If that fails I’m pretty sure H&M do babygrows in 2-3!
