I know they are called the Terrible Twos for a reason although we have had this for quite a long time before the two mark but our 26 month old cries and whinges all day long. Unless you are giving him 100% of your attention and playing with him he is doing this. He seems incapable of playing alone, even just for 10 minutes. I have tried ignoring it but quite frankly it makes it worse. He ends up pushing his face into mine to make me listen. He isn't talking much so there could be some frustration however this has been going on even before I would have expected him to be talking. We also have an almost 6 month old so again the change having a sibling could be part of it but it was happening way before the baby arrived so I also don't think it's that. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. He is way worse with me than anyone else however does still whinge and want attention from anyone who will give it! He has three mornings at nursery but he is apparently not like this when he is there (which I'm so pleased about - all reserved for me clearly!). Any tips on things I can try to help him hugely appreciated (which will help my sanity too).
