4.5m old suddenly really grumpy all the time

My son is 4.5m he's had a lot going on, he was diagnosed cmpa at 8 weeks and then started reflux meds at 12w. He got his first two teeth at 14w. Throughout it all he has always been a fairly jolly, laid back kind of chap.
He's had a nasty cold for 3 weeks now, he's very snuffly and congested, sounds crackly and past 3 days it's affecting his feeding as he will stop to cough and cry because he wants to carry on feeding but the cough is making him frustrated. He is also drinking less, around 3/4oz every 3h rather than 5oz every 3h. He is sleeping well, 12h at night and 3h during the day in 3 naps. He seems miserable, when he is not asleep he is moaning and crying constantly.
I took him to the doctors yesterday and they listened to his chest and said it was clear. Said it is likely just a cold.

I am worried about the drastic change in him. I am also worried it could be another allergy. I'm not sure what I can do to help him.

Just bumping. Considering taking him back to the gp as he's cried much of today.
