Hello,

Id really appreciare some other points of view or advice please. My Dd is 3.5ys. Started nursery in January mon-thurs until 11:30am.

All was.going well until about 2 weeks agao. She refuses to go to the toilet in the morning, wont get dressed, if I managed to get anyyhing on her she will take it off. She struggles with socks...shoes...One day something is ok, the next she wont wear it. Nursery report she ia doing well, settled well. She sometime struggles.with the noise there, but generally she is doing great and they habe no concerns.

Ive tried reward charts for getting dressed...stickers. I and exhausted by it. Is thisnjust a phase? Is there some development milestone aroun this age?

Tia

She's 3. I know it's hard and they can be bloody strong but give her chance to get herself ready and try and make a game of it eg who can get dressed fastest? But then just warn her and take the lead and just get her dressed and carry her into the car shoeless if necessary. They all take the michael a bit like this, my own 4YO included. They aren't necessarily doing it coz they don't want to go even (mine does it for fun trips like the park) They're doing it for a power battle. In some ways they're looking for you to take the lead so just gently but firmly show her who's boss x
