7 month old started screaming until wretching

I'm really worried about my 7 mo. Until 4 days ago his crying was all normal, he's now started this kind of screaming-shouting & within a couple of seconds he is straining his lungs so hard he's almost wretching. He's not crying, it's just when he wants something (like boobie in the night) or doesn't want something (being strapped in the buggy/put in the cot). It's such a horrid sound, he goes bright red and arches/straightens up his body and really really strains his voice. I can't bear it. As soon as he gets what he needs he stops. Has anyone else's babe ever done anything like this? It's like he's so angry he just loses it and goes bananas. I'm worried about his brain it's so unusual. We're up 10+ times in th night and I'm getting to the stage where I'm questioning if I can cope.

I think it's a developmental stage and is pretty normal. He is learning that he can express himself by screaming.

Thank you, that is what O was hoping to hear. Your mind just gets into all sorts of knots when it's 3am doesn't it. Keep telling myself 'crying is normal and it will stop soon' 🙏🏽

My son did that, and he had silent reflux. Just incase it could be anything like that, else I am sure it is just his way of communicating
