My 3 year old only eats pureed food

Hi, I'm trying not to worry but my 3 year old only eats pureed/mushy food. He won't bite or chew anything. He's healthy as we give him his 5 a day, lots of vegetables and fruits, but I'm not sure how to make him chew. If he's finding a bigger chunk in the food he'll just vomit. Will he grow out of it? Has anyone else experienced this?

@catal I haven't experienced this, however my son was really bad with food growing up and certain textures, smells and foods would make him vomit. He is still fussy (only likes very bland food), but is starting to try more foods.

It could be something that he eventually grows out of, or it could be down to a sensory issue. I would advice speaking to your health visitor because they will be able to suggest things to try and could maybe monitor and/or evaluate him to see if it could be something more.
