Dummy taken away

Anyone else's toddler started putting anything and everything in there mouth after you took the dummy away?

Gradually took it away a week ago now everything else seems to have taken the dummy's place!

Yes. My son decided to give up the dummy himself. He would use it to tap on things more than it was in his mouth so one morning I put it away and it never bothered him. But after that everything went in there. I just made sure that small and/or anything dangerous was put away obviously. If he put a car in his mouth, for example, i would take it and say watch what it does and wheel it around. Took a long time but eventually he stopped.
