2.5 month old trouble feeding

Hi,

We've got a 2.5 month old girl who for the past couple of weeks or so has started having short burst of crying when she is about a 1/4 of a way through a feed (bottle)and continues for more or less the rest of the feed.

We've done all the usual checks (burping, nappy etc), when she kicks off we take the bottle out and then she stops, but as soon as we put it back in again she starts crying again as if to say she doesn't want it!

We do eventually get it all down her with a lot of persistance, but she never used to do this so just wondered if anyone else has had this and whether there is a cause or remedy to help? We've used infacol and gripe water but they seem to have no affect and also the formula hasn't changed either so we are left scratching our heads somewhat!

Many thanks!

have you tried a faster teat? - or maybe your lo has had enough when she stops feeding the first time - how much does she stop at?

DS2 (8 weeks) has started to do this too, I've found he likes to take a bit of a rest half way through, have a bit of wind or jsut a look around for 10 or 20 minutes then he's ready for the rest. I'm also going to try him with a faster teat although with DS1 I found this gave him alot more wind.
Do you feed on demand or to schedule? If to schedule she just might not be ready for a whole feed.
