Does anyone have experience of these books?

I find them dull but they are what the teacher has selected so I do the homework.

I would like to mix it up with soMe ladybird books (called learn phonics with actuphons) that are just a bit more interesting.

I worry I will disrupt the curriculum somehow by changing the type of book we read in our own time. They all seem to have strict orders.

There are a few recent threads on the Primary Education section about this sort of thing - not specifically about those reading schemes, but about if/how to supplement school books.

Or you could copy your question to a new thread, or ask Mumsnet HQ to move your question to the Primary Education section.
