Just interested to exchange stories of your 4yo boys and what they are like and interests etc. now I should add my son has a language and communication delay and is possibly a year behind Altho we can't be certain

He loves cars and trains. He has hot wheels cars and garages etc. doesn't play with them all day long but deffo enjoys them.

He loves reading and is constantly bringing me books to read. He tries to read to himself but it's mostly gobbledygook

He loves duplo but mainly just building really tall towers, not other buildings etc

His pretend play is deffo improving so he brings me tea etc and tries to feed his toys sometimes not often but occasionally

He loves singing too

He loves soft play (who doesn't) and he enjoys swimming too but haven't been for a while

He loves just being out and active so scooting into town with mummy or even just a walk to the shops he loves being outdoor

He has interactive woody and buzz light year who talk etc so he enjoys them

He likes to try and draw so it's just mark making for now

Not too babyish is it?

He sounds lovely! I like that he has a variety of interests. None of it sounds babyish to me. 😊

That's amazing that he has so many interests. I have a 3.5 year old and he is only into Lego (he's actually obsessed) or animals.

He's not really into soft play, hates swimming - screamed the entire time, doesn't sit still long enough to read a book, so other than the two interests I mentioned above he's not really bothered by anything else.

I wouldn't say any of what you have mentioned is too babyish. Besides, he seems to be having lots of fun, so let him grow at his own pace.

You're doing an amazing job with him! Well done mama x
