2 year old will not eat... help!

Hi everyone,

No judgement please, I am only posting as I am at my wits end.

I have a 2, nearly 3 year old. For the last few months he has refused to eat ANYTHING. He refuses everything that's offered to him except yoghurt, crisps and chocolate. We cannot even get him to eat his favourite food. It's to the point I'm worried he is going to end up ill.

Does anybody have advice?

We've tried offering him 'picky' dinners so he can chose what he wants to eat, we've tried not making a big deal out of the food when we put it down, I feel like we've tried everything!

TIA.

I'm sure someone will be along with a helpful response but please please stop the chocolate. The biggest reason for children in the UK being put under general anaesthetic is for their decayed teeth to be extracted. Your child is way too young to go through something like that.

Hi,

We don't actively feed him chocolate. He occasionally gets a chocolate biscuit at the weekend but we only really offer healthy snacks. I was just using that as an example of what he actually will eat.
