Hi, I’ve posted before about having a big ds. He started accelerating beyond growth charts at about 10 months. He is now 1metre high and 20 kg and just turned 2. Other symptoms of accelerated development in the nappy area. I knew something was up and we have finally got a diagnosis. The endocrinologist says he has high levels of testosterone generated by the adrenals, causing muscle growth and early puberty. I’m so upset and worried for him. Has anyone else had this diagnosis for such a young child and how did it pan out?
