Hi
Can anyone recommend a musical mobile or musical box that will aid my DD to sleep. I bought a Winnie the Pooh one from Mothercare but all that does is totally wind her up and stimulate her more. Are there any classical music ones or less noisy ones?

thanks

Could you not just put a little CD player in her room and play some music of your choice? Mine used to be fascinated by the mobile/projector things, but soothed to sleep? Never...

Our MIL just bought a jungle one which has got a setting with the sound of crickets and a few birds which seems to settle DS2 (8 weeks) really well, think its fisher price?? there are arms coming out of it with animals hanging off that can move up and down. All the others I have ever seem are just too loud and stimulating. TBH though the best thing we found for DS1 was a CD player with very low music/nature sounds and low lighting.

Do you know i hadn't even thought of CD player.... Genius (and cheaper). I will give that a go tonight.

THank you

Just to agree with all the above, really which is: Fisher price mobile, CDs and classic fm. We used all.

I used a £4.99 handheld radio tuned to 'white noise' for weeks with my dd. Worked a treat. The cot mobile is just something to look at in the morning when she wakes...
