Hi everyone hoping someone can help.
My 7yo son (8 in june) has been constantly licking his fingers and hands for over a year now. It’s every 10-15 seconds so when I say it’s constant, it really is. Sometimes he will also stuff his finger up his nose and then into his mouth repeatedly (5-6 times and then stop). We’ve tried everything to stop it and I just don’t know what else to do. It started off small just licking his finger tips, now he will lick his entire palms. It’s not boredom as even if he is immersed in a film or a game he will be breaking off every few seconds to do it. Has anyone else experienced this? He’s always got an upset tummy and I’m convinced it’s because he’s doing this?
