My 18 month old DS still isn't walking! I'm beginning to worry.... he has always been quite a late developer should I say, he didn't roll while 7 months, didn't sit up unaided while 8-9 months, didn't crawl while 11 months, didn't pull to stand while almost 15 months and now at almost 18 months he can't stand or walk. He cruises across furniture and walks holding my hands but soon as I try to encourage him and let go, he just lowers himself to the floor. He doesn't really crawl properly, he has kind of a asymetrical crawl where he uses his left leg to push himself, and his right leg is tucked under, dragging? It's a bit between a shuffle / scoot / crawl. He has a pediatric assessment appointment on Thursday but it's been playing on my mind for months and I just feel something isn't right and it's just constantly getting me down with worry. I know I shouldn't compare but my DD was practically running as this age and stringing words together, he just seems to be very behind on everything. Please help with positive stories??
