spoon feeding

my ds nearly two and although self feeds with hands has not quite got the hang of spoon feeding yet. Can do it but not for whole meal. Seems to be unsure of which hand to use. Is this bad

No. They get the hang of things eventually.

i gave both my DCs a little knife and fork, from about 14 - 16 months and they copy everyone else. DD is 2.5 and if she is very hungry ( a rarity! ) she still uses hands to shovel it in don;t worry about it
