Tongue Tied 8 month old

Hi all,

My 8 month old son has a tongue tie, which we’ve just found out (despite asking 2 doctors previously). 8 months is quite late to have it skipped, I was wondering if anyone has had their babies tongue tied corrected at this later stage and how their babies were after etc?

im in the process of having my 6 month old checked and feeling a bit worried about the procedure and the recovery.

Hi @Kona84 Sorry for the late reply. It went really well actually. Josh was on medication for reflux for 8 months, and as soon as he had it snipped he was a different baby, hasn’t been sick since (had it done 3 months ago) and came off all medication.
Procedure wise, having to hold them down is tough and upsetting, but it takes seconds. Josh cried for a good few minutes after but was totally fine.
