Miserable 2 month old short naps

I’m a new mum and my 2 month old sleeps well at night but only sleeps half hour at a time in the day (we’ve tried every type of nap, driving, buggy, carrier, sling, cot etc) and becomes increasingly miserable and tired throughout the day culminating in a terrible evening full of tears. Has anyone experienced the same? Any advice? It is so miserable

Have you tried the No Cry Nap Solution? It came out after I'd had mine but we did have some success with the No Cry Sleep Solution Smile

I’m afraid 30 minute naps are quite typical from about this age. Usually gets better around 6 months when they learn to link sleep cycles.

I’d keep his wake windows short so double the nap length, in your case 30 minute nap, 60 minutes awake, then nap etc
