9 year old wetting himself

My 9 year old has previously been through stages, where if you make him laugh too hard he wets himself. Has not been an issue for well over a year.

He has had a lot of home changes in the last 2-3 years.

The last month there's been issues at his dads house due to him having yet another relationship, with children involved and there calling him dad he is feeling extremely pushed out. He's been an only child for 7years.

He's now wetting himself and little poop, he has admitted it doesn't bother him, he has been dry at night since potty training. It is causing issues at school and now at home.
Any advice would be helpful or similar situations ?

I've not got any experience but I do think he needs some help. Have you spoken to the GP to rule out any physical issues that may be causing it and to see if your can get in the, exceptionally long, waiting list for Counselling.

School maybe able to help with some sort of support as well. Our primary had a Nuture Room where they'd take children who were struggling for a bit of one to one time to help them try and work through their emotions.
