Swaddling at 6 weeks going to 7?

Stopped swaddling after about week 2. However we think that DD1 sleeps much better in a snug space.

Should we swaddle her? She sleeps in a cot.

I would - if you think she likes it then I can't see any harm.

I swaddled ds until he was just over 6 months - he definitely needed it. Naps and nightime were so much more disturbed when he wasn't swaddled. If he broke free of his swaddle at nightime just wrapping him back up was often enough to get him back to sleep.

DD didn't need it so much but I still ended up swaddling her until she was 4 months as she had a recurring skin infection and it helped stop her scratching it.

Pg with no3 at the mo. I have every intention of swaddling this one if I feel that it helps them sleep.

I only started swaddling at 7 weeks and wish I'd done it sooner - carried on till DD was about 6 months when I put her in a grobag.

I swaddled for as long as I could. Well over 6months with some. Ended up using a cot blanket as they got older but they still liked the feeling of being wrapped.
