Toddler favoring one parent

Not sure how to title this so will see how much feedback I get!
Does anyone else have a "what have you done for me recently" child?
Our beautiful, DD is 22 months, and whilst she is recently exhibiting lots of terrible 2's are on the way behaviors! Yay ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ˜…
She has always been one to favor the parent that has spent time with her recently.
So for example, I would have her in bed with me at night, the next day she is all about mama and not bothered with daddy.
And exactly the same in reverse.
Or daddy takes her for a walk, they get back and I can't get a look in.
I took her to soft play today, and she won't give her daddy a hug when we get home and is clinging to me.
More recently though she acts distressed if we even attempt to encourage her to give the other parent any affection during these weird moments.
( we do spend time together of course and then there is no issue, this is just when one parent is either working or busy with something)
Any ideas/ insights? What is her deal!? ๐Ÿ˜‚
