Instead of our daughter (almost 3) we have at any given time a doggie, a froggie, a teacher or santa. She never seems to want to be herself anymore. It's quite funny watching her insist on jumping everywhere and refusing to answer a question unless it's prefaced with ribbit =)
How long does the intense imaginary play period usually go on for? It's quite good fun but does get tiring after the 5th time going on the imaginary train to find santa (who apparently is a plastic dog when he's not our daughter =))
I'd love to hear what kind of other things children have insisted on being.
