Height at 6.5 year olds

When to M&S the other day and Dd wanted to do her height on the height chart they had there.

She was 125cm tall. I knew she had got quite tall but didn't realise that tall. Seems much taller than average according to google but she doesn't seem abnormally tall compared to her peers! Some seem taller!

I found paperwork the other day from when she was measured and weighed at school in early 2020 and she was 103cm so she's got 22cm taller in two years. Wtf? Is that rate of growth usual? She's in the upper normal range for weight.

Is rapid height gain normal?

To add I'm 5 foot 7 and dp 5 foot 10. So not short but not overly tall either.

She's catching up with Ds. He's 10 and 130cm but he's never been tall.

If you look up 'growth chart for girls' on google there'll be images come up of a cuild growth chart. If you plot her height on here it'll give you an idea of where she's at. The important thing is she should be more or less following the same tragectory eg if she was ok the 75th percentile line 2 years ago she should about be now. If she's gone up more than 2 percentiles or she's showing any other signs of being medically unwell then i'd speak to a dr x

My 6.5 year old DS is 126cm. My 9 year old dd is also tall compared to her peers. Some kids are tall, some kids grow earlier than others but reach full adult height earlier. I wouldn't worry about it.
