My DS is the absolute light of my life, but lately he's just being a big of an a-hole really!
He turned 3 a couple of weeks ago - so I know he's a "threenager" and he's just learning the boundaries but I need to vent and would appreciate any advice on how to get through this with my sanity/ move it on quickly...
He's always been fussy about food but now he will refuse practically everything. He'll say that he wants toast, then refuse to eat it and demand a sandwich, then refuse that and demand pasta....! Of course, should someone whip out a pack of chocolate buttons of a cake he's all over that.
He's being fussy about the nappies we use, he will not potty train, one day he'll only let me do things for him and the next it's only DW that he wants. Sometimes when we're out he'll just find a big stick and go around hitting stuff / us with it. He'll throw his toys across the room sometimes. He is the most stubborn person I have met and holds a grudge all day. The cries the most heartbreaking cry if he doesn't get exactly what he wants. He basically controls everything!

Toddler Taming is an excellent book.

I'd start with the food. If he refuses something, just ignore the protests and don't offer any alternatives. If he's hitting you with a stick, the stick goes abs he has to hold your hand instead.
