My baby is 3.5 months and has got red cheeks since last 2 weeks. Its not irritating him or anything but i was wondering if i need to see my gp. First it looked like he has got it because of heat as our house is quite warm (22-23 degrees ). But its not going away so i am now concerned.

I personally wouldnt worry. We do have a tendency to overheat our houses so that could be the cause. My little ones seemed to permanently have red cheeks and they get worse when they start teething!

Take him to the GP or HV if you need resassurance but hes probably fine.

teething

Probably teething but there is a virus colloquially known as 'slapped cheek' because it causes red cheeks. Doesn't usually last more than a few days, though.

Calpol, plenty of fluids and sleep... cures everything
