Hi everyone, my 13 month old boy has never clapped but can clap if you bring his hands together, has done the action of waving on random occasions but has never actually waved at anyone. Can feed himself with an open hand and can slap on the drum and recently has started pushing our hands together for us to clap for him. Said mama and mam once or twice 2 months ago but nothing since, can make noises and can imitate some noises we make at him . Not walking yet but cruising furniture and walking with our hands and could literally do that all day loves climbing . Watches some tv mainly nursery rhymes and enjoys when we sing to them with him, he loves playing peekaboo and has started to bring things to us that he enjoys , makes eye contact fine and seems a bit iffy of strangers but then hasnt been mixed much with being born in lockdown etc. Also only responds to his name sometimes. Do you think any of this is cause for concern or am I overthinking? Or any tips to help encourage him. Thanks xx
