Hello, I have 3 boys all between 13 and 17 years old, and my eldest has just found a way of bypassing my North Korea level firewall. I am able to see their search history and it has been quite shocking. (e.g. doing stuff with dwarves). Help please!

Have you spoken to them about porn?

@PanicBuyingSprouts

Have you spoken to them about porn?
No, I'm not quite sure how to approach this.

I was a bit wary talking about it now but we do talk about it quite openly now. There are a few articles out there, this is just one of them.

Are they doing it via mobile data?
I'd imagine that in North Korea they whitelist content that people can watch and block everything else.

I would recommend having an honest conversation with them.

It'll be awful for them but you need to be prepared for that. You are the adult here and can't be the squeamish one or judgemental.

Watching porn is normal
Some people have fetishes when watching porn that they'd never consider in real life
Porn is not "real sex" you need to help them understand sex will be different

Show them that they can talk to you about this kind of stuff and that you will listen and support.
