My DD who is 4.9 is genuinely well behaved, a really good girl on the whole.
Last Christmas she turned into the most vile child you can ever imagine - I know its over excitement and usually if we have a treat planned, birthday party, day out etc I have to tell her at the very last minute otherwise she's just a total nightmare! (But you can't keep Christmas quiet can you?)
She's finished school at 1pm today after seeing Father Xmas at school and knows officially it's the Christmas holidays - she's has been just a nightmare since we've been home. Just like last year - She totally ruined Christmas and it's gonna happen again - We're off to the in-laws tommorrow for 4 days OMG I'm dreading it - I've tried everything in the book - Does anyone else's DC's just totally change at Xmas to a whinging, crying brat who won't listen to a word?????

Tired

My dd2 is like this at the end of every term and it is because she is tired, fed up of her routine being mucked about to accomodate plays, parties etc, anxd generally she just wants to relax and do nothing.
