3.5 year old just will not listen. Feel like I am always telling him off. ‘Don’t pick that stick up it’s got poo on it’ I literally say it ten times he ignores me and still does it. ‘Don’t jump off the sofa, you’ve got a sore leg already’.. again I said it more than once and he does it anyway then cries that his leg hurts. ‘Hold on to the banister’ when going down the stairs. Point blank refuses so I refuse to let us go down the stairs until he agrees. I am finding this exhausting… he’s home with me as I kept him off nursery to keep him well but this is so unenjoyable. Any ideas?
I bribe him with.. no tv, I’ll tell Santa you’re misbehaving, I explain the dangers in what he’s doing etc… nothing works. It’s making us both miserable! Help!!!
