Stopping Breastfeeding?

My son is 15 months now and I am thinking about stopping breastfeeding.
He has never really been very cuddly...only is super tired or obviously when feeding.
Did anyone find once they stopped breastfeeding their child became more cuddly and affectionate?

I haven’t stopped yet but my baby is the same age and behaviour sounds similar. How do you plan on stopping out of interest?

He is combi fed. So also has bottle of cows milk.
I think I am more of a comfort than source of milk now really.
But I am thinking gradually do it
