First steps/walking

My LO is 11 months old. Has been crawling since 7 months and pulling up and cruising along furniture since about 8 months.

The past few days he's been letting go of furniture and starting to take 1 or 2 steps towards me before then losing balance and falling over!

My question is how long on average does it take for them to go from this (a couple of tiny steps), to being able to take several steps, then to fully walking? Still with lots of falling over I'm sure!

I'm not trying to rush him at all - he will do it whenever he's ready, just wondering what to expect. How long did it take your little ones?

My DD took her first steps at 15 months & 5 days and was fully walking by 16 months & 12 days so a little over a month. She was lazy though so your LO might be sooner. Smile
