7 month old doesn't make sounds

Is this normal? She was late to belly laugh giggle. Only got that in the past few days from peek-a-boo. It's still a small giggle though. When she learnt to coo she did each vowel for a week and then stopped and now is just soooo quiet throughout the day. Barely makes a sound. We get lots of smiles and good eye contact. Went out to dinner tonight and and went to each friend (3 boys and 3 girls) happy as Larry, looking then in eyes and smiling. I thought they aren't meant to get stranger anxiety around now? Having said that from the day she was born we have passed her around to family and friends.

My main concern is that she doesn't make any sounds :(

I actually remember my baby doing this about the same age for about a week and I was very worried. Turns our she was focussing only another skill. Once that was mastered the babbling returned full force and that screech they love to do at that age. Keep an eye on it and if you are worried speak for your HV but I expect baby is about to show you a different skill and will then get voice back

@Possum1986 my baby is 10 months in few days , he is very active baby , always follow me , crawls back to me , not want to be alone for a second. have strange anxiety now. babbling but not loads, he claps as copy me but not wave yet. he seems fine to me but he is quiet although have some sounds nd babbling but not all day.how is ur baby now?

I no longer have concerns. She has been consistently babbling since 8.5 months, can clap, wave, point, blow kisses and understand simple questions :)

ur baby is doing amazing...my baby understand some word like taddy,buterfly, came here, ball.but not pointing or waving yet. babling may be 4/5 times a day . but better than before. i hope he will do everything like ur baby.
