12 months old not babbling !

My little girl is 12.5 months old. Up until she was approx 5 months she babbled often, then stopped. We put this down to her learning is roll, crawl, stand up and cruise all in the space or 2 months and thought she was concentrating on all of that.
When she turned 12 months, she started saying 'babababa' over and over for about a week. Last week she was loaded with the flu and she stopped so we put it down to that. However she hasn't been sick for a week now and still only the odd 'ba' by itself now and then. Has anyone else's baby done this?
What was the outcome?
I contacted health visitor and she says it's strange and that we'll review in 6 weeks. I feel like a fallout

Hi, my daughter still only says 'bababa' however its constant. She's also said 'ball' a few times. My health visitor said we would review every 6 weeks, however I haven't heard from her and she won't get back to me so I'm at a loss. I've accepted that she'll talk when she's ready

Yes my 12 month old doesn’t babble much at all. The odd baba, mama and dada but that’s it. He is crawling, standing, clapping, waving etc. definitely quieter than older siblings but I’m hoping he’ll get there in his own time.

Hi, my little girl is now 16 months. She has started saying 'mamama' when she is upset. Still says bababa the most. She has stopped saying 'ball' but seems to be trying to copy us sometimes now. I'm honestly not worried anymore she'll speak when she's ready ☺️

No she doesn't wave or clap yet. But she's starting to understand more and listens (when she wants lol). I'm just not worrying about it, she'll do it in her own time ☺️ she started going to nursery for 2 sessions a week a month ago and nursery seems to be helping her quite a bit

Hi any updates on your little ones??

Hi,

My boy is 3 and a half now. He is a little chatterbox and communicates well. As a baby/ toddler I did feel he was always slightly behind in his speech milestones but not enough to be referred to a specialist. He didn’t really talk in full sentences until close to three but there is no stopping him now.
