My 7 months old insists on walking

My 7 months old daughter has been trying to walk since she turned 6 months. She just gets very fussy and wants to be put down and get assistance walking. She is great at communication, so we know when she is asking for this. She just wants us to hold her hands while she walks. People are saying it's too early, but she is just very determined and stubborn. Has anyone experienced this?

I think some babies are more determined to do things as soon as possible, my daughter is 6 months old and doing much the same thing, as long as she's able to walk holding your hands I can't see how she would be too young because babies develop at different rates

My middle one was crawling at 5 months, walking alone at 8 months. Honestly it was a right nightmare as she had no common sense, and also was inclined to plunge down places she couldn't make.
Her big sister crawled at 9 months, walked at 15 months and I totally recommend that. Grin

It really doesn't matter as long as they're happy to stand and walk and you're not forcing them. By 18 months you can't tell who walked at 8 months and who walked at 17 months.
