No grasp reflex?

Hi..I'm new here so hope I am doing this right! My baby is 6 weeks old, when he was born he was 10lb and was delivered by forceps and had trauma to his eyes and an egg like lump on his head. Since then he has had a few issues; choking on milk, projectile vomiting, constant squint, he has a high arched palate, his head is in 98 percentile and recently I noticed he has no palmar grasp reflex at all. I started googling online(stupid) and found it is one of the diagnostic criteria for cerebral palsy. My GP referred him to paediatrician, but I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and what the outcome was? I would be grateful as I am worried!

I remember how scary it was when our daughter was being evaluated for cerebral palsy so I entirely sympathise. I can't offer any advice but if you post on the SEN board hopefully someone will be able to help.

Best wishes x

Sorry just realised you are already on the right board.

@Mattieandmummy Hi, thank you for your reply! Yes it is worrying! Did it turn out your daughter had CP? Did she have any of the symptoms as my baby? x

No she doesn't have CP and had different symptoms so I can't really advise, I'm sorry.
