ASD/ADHD and difficult birth/labour?

Is there a connection between this?

I have a child with ADHD. Very straightforward pregnancy, very straightforward labour.and birth. So no, not in my experience.

I have seen posts and polls like this before and rest assured there is no connection found within these.

You are at risk of self-blame and guilt if you go down the "if only" route. "If only I didn't push for 3-4 hours", "if only the baby didn't need resuscitation on arrival" (I've just read another post of yours).

These conditions are down to genetics (sometimes, but not necessarily, heredity).
