Hi everyone
My baby has been very social since she was 6 months old...always smiling, responding well to her name, always ready to play with everyone.
Her developmental milestones are on mark.
However, now in her 13th month, she started becoming very clingy to her mother...as we all know, it is the separation anxiety phase.
To counter it, we started to make her sit before TV to watch nursery rhymes, which she really enjoys.
Concerns:
- She has stopped responding to her name, like 2/10, and remains busy with her toys or tv.
- She is still clingy to her mother...but has stopped interacting with me or her grandparents. No more kisses or hugs to dad. Stopped saying Papa, which she used to do whole day.
Has anyone faced something similar during the separation anxiety phase of the toddler ? Is it the TV watching issue ?? Please reply.
