Any advice or thoughts appreciated...
My 11.5 month old is on track for everything but communication (according to the ASQ).
She social smiles, she follows me around (crawling), she watches people come and go, turns to noises, she makes noises to get my attention, babbles dada etc, responds when I say "Where's dog dog?" by turning and looking for him, smiles when she sees him. Shows me toys, tries to feed me, copies occasionally like if I smack my lips then she will do something similar.
But she doesn't clap when I clap or point at things and ask me for help to reach them (she just cries, doesn't look at me, just looks at the object and cries), she doesn't have any sounds or words for things, nit much shared attention.
Should I be worried? She has just started nursery last week so I'm keen to see if it's the effects of being a lockdown baby, maybe she will become a bit more vocal or demanding. But I don't know...
