Morning, I hope everyone is well. I have a 6 year old DS who has behaviour problems we have been getting support from school for 2 years now but there's not much else that can be done he is already on the waiting list for small steps and the hospital mental health team but on a daily basis he is calling his siblings names and being very aggressive hitting them and us, he is also voluntarily urinating in his bedroom on his things and his brothers things I'm really lost on what to do the GP has said it's not inconvenient so they can't do anything I just have no idea what to do. He has had trauma from his biological dad being abusive so it could be an anxiety thing but he is also suspected adhd.
Any ideas to support him as I'm not getting any support elsewhere?

That must be really hard to cope with

You mention ASD in the title but not the post. Does he have ASD @sandybeach93?

Yes it is very hard, he has suspected asd and adhd so not been diagnosed as of yet but it's a 2 year wait for him to even been seen

See if you can get the school or GP to refer you to Caudwell Children for the ASD referral. It's free if your household income is less than £45k and you are usually seen and assessed within 3 months.

Don't think they do the ADHD assessments though but at least you'll get your ASD through more quickly Thanks
