Dd keeps bursting into tears for no obvious reason

It's been going on for about 5 days now and it's always around the same time of day - between 5 and 6pm.

She's eating well, everything seems fine at school although she looks a bit tired.

I can't work out what's going on, and dd doesn't either

Any ideas?

(and why is my cursor flickering madly?)

how old is she? is she reaching puberty?

Mercy · 11/12/2007 10:34

Not hormones, she's only 6½

simply tired? over emotional in the run up to Christmas?

I can only think she's over tired tbh.

This is a long half-term, she's the main narrator in the school play (again - she wants to have an acting role), we've all had coughs and colds etc. Plus there was a bit of teasing at school recently but that has been sorted out.

It's just so strange to see her upset as she's a quite happy-go-lucky personality normally.

She sounds a little bit stressed out. Some children are very sensitive to these things.

I hope the school play goes well for her
