Whiney child

Dd just turned 4 and almost overnight has become a whiney little thing. She has always been so resilient, nursery key workers used to say she bounces, because she would fall over and get straight back up. Now, the slightest knock and she needs hugs and kisses. She's also regressed in terms of sharing toys, and cries whenever she is required to share or someone is playing with a toy that's hers, even when she's not playing with it. I'm not sure if it's a genuine need for reassurance, attention seeking or something else. I am reluctant to not give her comfort when she needs it but most of the time she's not hurt, but will cry for cuddles.

What happened to my resilient little girl? And what can I do to reintroduce some resilience?

Maybe try a little 'special time' with her- undivided attention, play whatever she wants, really connect and see if anything changes/she reveals what is bothering her. It really does wonders sometimes.

She's an only child. She gets tons of time with undivided attention. I'm working on putting my phone down and being in the moment but her dad is way better at it. They have a day when during the week just them together and nothing has come up so far.

Has anything changed? New people around, changing rooms at Nursery or starting school? Changed for you like hours?

Id be tempted though to give her a dose of Calpol abs see if her mood improves, she could just be feeling under the weather abs DC are notoriously bad at being able to articulate feeling unwell or in pain.

Nothing has changed. She's been in her current room at nursery since the Summer, I've worked full time and her dad part time since the start of lockdown. She wakes up with a but of a cough but then is fine throughout the day, maybe she's brewing something. I usually pick up bugs from her and I've started coughing. Otherwise she seems completely fine though.
