My DS is 20mo and hasnt had one since he was 12mo. Any ideas if or when he should have one?

TIA

Well, I will watch this thread with interest!

The HVs in our area, sent a letter to us saying that unless we thought we needed to arrange an appointment with them to do his 2year (I think) check, we should just "read the attached checklist and make sure he is doing everything on there" and only contact them if we had concerns.

Saying that, the HVs in our area are useless! My DS had to have an operation under GA when he was a little under 12months and we also spent a day in A&E with him when he was about 18months, I am still waiting for my HV to find out how he is. My DS is now 2.6!

they don't bother in our area either, no 8month or 2year check here in Bucks, yet my friends in Beds have had both....

i'll have to dig that red book out, DH has reminded me that there were some notes written in the back of there! I'll post on here what it says!

they send a letter out with a checklist at 2 years. no official checkunless you raise any concerns thru the list.
