9-year-old daughter wetting the bed regularly

I'm relatively relaxed about it but wonder if I should tell her GP? Bed wetting runs in my family - my brother wet the bed when he was a teenager, her 10-year-old daughter is still in nappies and my little girl is similar. She's not in nappies, but wets the bed easily once a week.

Definitely discuss with her gp. Just in case there is a under lying cause. It may well be nothing to worry about. Ds's cousin started doing similar and it turned out to be diabetes. Is this new thing for her?

Hi, thanks for the reply. This is not a new thing and as I've said, it seems to run in my family.

I wonder if others have a similar experience?

Hi yes my 8 year old soon to be 9 year old would still wet most nights but is now on desmopressin tablets as we just couldn't cope with the laundry
