DD1 (17 months) started chewing her dummy to pieces, so I had to take it off her in case she swallowed it in her sleep (not sure if that can happen, but it worried me lol) When she went to bed last night, first time ever without her dummy she spent ages looking for it, under her sheets, under her blanket, tried to lift the mattress, under her teddy, looked over the side of the cot... Then looked at me & babbled something that must have meant "Where's my dummy??"
But she's OK now, went for nap today & seemed perfectly happy without the dummy!
