Distressing when young baby cries in sleep!

My LG is 4.5mnths old & since 3mnths has been crying in her sleep. She whimpers & frowns with an upturned mouth then will will usually scream/cry out really loudly as if really upset - it’s the sort of cry when they have their jabs, as though they’re in pain.
I’m finding it really upsetting & distressing. Worse is that someone who doesn’t know our birth story suggested it could be birth trauma.. now I’m worried this may be true as we had a traumatic birth which ended in my forceps after 5hrs of active pushing & 19hrs of labour. LG then couldn’t BF or be held by me for some time as I was hypoglycaemic (T1 diabetic) & she ended up having 2 days of light treatment for jaundice as a result of bruising from the forceps.
I’m really struggling to know what to do about this crying in her sleep & worrying that she has trauma already. I co-sleep as since 8wks she simply refuses to go in her cot & she is EBF. I’m just feeling so awful about it, does anyone have any suggestions as to cause, how to help her or any experience of this with their own LO? X

This is strange as my girl does the same, she is 15 weeks and has done this for a while. I also had forceps but a fast 2 hour labour! Not sure what the issue is x
