Hi my 7 year old boy has a bad habit of picking scabs. He will have a pimple or little bump on his forearm and he will pick at it untill it's a big scab. And picks it over and over again. During lock down it got very bad. Then cleared up. Some more have shown up now he's bk at school. He's been doing it since 4 but it got very bad during lockdown.

I suffer very bad with anxiety and I'm worried it's my fault.
I sit down talk to him he says nothing bothers him. And if something does we talk about it.

I'm not sure if it's just a bad habit or something more. My cousins daughter pulls her hair, eyes brows and eye lashes out and I think it's in the same category. Part of ocd which I suffer with

If you think he might have OCD have you asked for him to be assessed?

Are you getting any treatment for your anxiety as well @sroseym? Thanks
