What does your evening look like? What I mean by this is does your DC still have a bedtime? Do they go to bed when you do or does it mean you having to go to bed earlier? I’m talking 2-3 years+ not babies.

TIA

yes. bedtime is enforced at a certain time pre 8pm!

Then i go up later on, remove 1 child from my side of the bed and sleep!

Have to have a bedtime else I would go insaine!

I still co sleep with my 2.5 year old and we've just ended our bf journey. Bedtime for us is at 8:30pm. I take him to my room and put him in his toddler cot next to my bed, stay with him in the dark until he falls asleep usually in 20 mins. I creep out and get on with my evening. He will wake up around 11pm just before I go to bed, I give him a sip of water which it used to be breast milk until last week and now it's water. I will stop giving him water when he feels there's no reason to wake up just for water. He will then fall back to sleep until 8am next day. Sometimes he will wake up in the middle of the night sleeping on top of my chest.

And also my little boy is a boob fiddler. He has to fiddle with my boobs until he falls asleep I'm guessing it's a comfort thing that's why his toddler cot is adjacent to my bed.
