My 3.5YO is being referred to ENT as there's been reduced hearing in 2 tests. Tbh I've suspected a hearing issue since she was a baby as her understanding has always been amazing but she was late babbling and quite slow to 'take off' with expressive language. Nowadays she's very articulate but still has difficulties with articulation and having speech therapy due to struggling to form some sounds and making some atypical speech errors. Has anyone been through similar? Did you opt for hearing aids or grommets in the end? And did they help with your LO's speech? Thanks x
