My LO has just turned 6 months old, and I have left her a few hours here and there with both sets of grandparents, probably a handful of times each. I've not had much of a need to leave her and she doesn't sleep well for others and is a baby who definitely needs her sleep!
I've left her one evening so far with my parents, who looked after her here but she would not go to sleep, so we were back by 9pm to settle her (which was fine).
However, I tried to leave her for a few hours earlier this week and she just screamed non-stop for 45 minutes to the point she couldn't catch her breath so I ended up cutting my evening and going to get her. She was fine when I got there and gave her a cuddle but was really unsettled the rest of the night and has been clingy/tired/not really herself since. I'm wondering if she had such a bad reaction as she's potentially teething and just wanted me?
I'm worried now as I have plans (tickets for an event) towards the end of October and don't know what to do, and also I'm going to have to leave her when I go back to work too so need to get her used to others/settling for them. I really don't know what to do for the best. Has anyone been through similar or any advice on how best to handle this?
